Julia Blackwell is an urban Cree woman of the Peepeekisis First Nation with mixed European ancestry, living on the Coast Salish lands of the Greater Vancouver Area. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, a Yoga Teacher, and an Ayurvedic Nutritionist.
